1-4 PM, December 14, 2008 @ Twin Cities Magic and Costume
I will be holding the first in a four-part series of workshops on Card Magic. This first session will focus on Forcing. All techniques covered can be done with a normal, borrowed deck.
This workshop will cover a range of methods, from self-working to the technically demanding.
The workshop will also explore the three main categories that all sure-fire forces fall into. There will be discussion on how best to utilize the concept, as well as which type is best suited for any given situation.
Lastly, some classic ideas will be taught, so that everyone will be leaving with several effects they can perform. New magicians will have a whole new world of card magic opened up to them, and advanced card handlers will have a greater understanding of the finer aspects of this often misunderstood and underappreciated tool.
