I try very hard to look at the concept of mentoring though the eyes of a younger me.

If you are anything like I was, you may be skeptical of spending money on something intangible. It’s a simple mental calculation of how much stuff you could buy instead of risking money on a class. It’s a fair point, but then again, think of all the DVDs, instant downloads and gimmicks piled up in the average magician’s house. Now sprinkle another handful of stuff on top of that pile…acquisition rarely equals improvement.

Perhaps you still have some tiny nagging doubt. After all, if I was any good, why isn’t YouTube filled with my videos?

The answer is rather simple. When you see me, I want it to be live. Or at the very least, live via webcam. I don’t want to film something over and over, then pick the best “take” to show you. Also, I have no desire to create little copies of myself, imitating me move for move and line for line. I’m here to help you be a better you, not a lesser me. Lastly,  I am rather Old School when it comes to protecting secrets.

So, here we are.

Since I don’t want your time with me to be a risk, I have a simple offer: our first session together is free. No strings, no contracts. I’m not interested in the quick buck; nor am I going to pound your email with things from a product line. Most of my students stay with me for years, so in the bigger picture, a free initial meeting is no real loss to me. Hell, even crack dealers give out free samples…but I digress.
